Miami Engagement Photography – Brenizer Method

In Uncategorized, Wedding Photography Techniques by digitalgold

I recently had a Miami engagement photography session with Mack and Christina in beautiful Key Biscayne (post to follow). I decided to finally give the Brenizer Method (AKA DOF Depth of Field Panorama) a try. This style of photo is named after its creator, Ryan Brenizer, who is one of the highest regarded wedding photographers in the world and one of my personal favorites. I’ve been mesmerized by his Brenizer Method photos and their amazing depth and focus on the subject. I knew it was time to try this method out myself. Both of these photos of Mack and Christina were taken with a Nikon 85mm f/1.4 on my Nikon D3. Each of them was comprised 50-60 photos with apertures set to f/1.4 and f/1.8 (I wanted to test both). I’m pretty happy with the results and I’m excited to try it out on future weddings and engagement photo-shoots

This Miami engagement photo was my first attempt at the Brenizer Method

***Update the 2nd picture added is a Brenizer Method photo of the wedding dress. The location of the wedding was Pelican Grand Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
